Usually, people write “year summary” post at the end of the year. I do this in the begging of January.
2017 was a year of gadget diet. I did not purchase any gadgets during the year. I prefer to spend my money on things which are reliable and work for me. Therefore, I find great that I did not need to upgrade.
My Moto G 2015 is already 2.5 years old. I believe, there is no other smartphone I used that long. Most probably it will not turn 3 years – I already see first symptoms. But still, 2+ years is a great result, especially for the price.
My Mi Band (first generation) is a unique piece of technology. I do not remember when I got it, but, definitely before my moto. Actually, mi band is a critically important part of my life – it wakes me (and only me) up every morning with vibro alarm. Step counting and notifications are nice, but not important bonuses. And I still charge it once a month.
The last old gadget I want to mention today is my Amazon Kindle (2nd edition). Several times I thought about an upgrade, but was not able to find a really good reason. It does the work and does it well.
